Listened to Death Magnetic, the new Metallica album today. I’ve no strong opinions about it yet, sometimes it seems that I have to hear an album several times before it grows on me. There is quite a bit of the old sound and style that I’d expect which is both cool and sort of disappointing in a way, so that when something new actually happens my mind grabs hold instantly “hey, that’s different!”.
This photo has been making it’s rounds on the net today. James Hetfield must have had to really dig down deep into the darkness of his soul, scraping up the dregs of his existence to write this album. And IS there a better place to start than Armani? I mean just because you’re angry doesn’t mean you can’t look FABULOUS!
