It’s nothing I brag about but I have a soft spot in my heart, and iPod for 80s cheese rock (and i just invented that term, I think). Watching the Billy Squier video below “Rock me tonight” should probably be played any time that I get too wistful for 80s “music”. It might even be a worthy experiment to exchange viewing this video for waterboarding, though I still don’t think it would be any more humane nor expose real intel. Some of my favorite things to note from this:
– Hi, I ripped my shirt off, now I’m putting on a new one
– Producer: “Billy, we want you to dance”
Billy: “Buuuuut, I can’t dance.”
Producer: “Don’t worry about it, just give it your all!”
– Clearly this set was used earlier in the day for some, let’s say, alternative movie. Gross.
– Pitch meeting: “Guys, we’ve got $50 and three hours to shoot this video. What do you have for ideas?”
