Thoughts, deepest sympathies and respect to the astronauts and families of the Columbia
I’m just sad. Sad as I would be for anyone who dies in the line of service or duty, or who just happened to cross the street at the wrong moment.
The fact that the news focuses immediately on why it happened and what caused it as opposed to who died is a telling comment on our society. I’m guilty of wanting that knowledge as well.
