One of the more annoying statements that I hear memorializing a person is “he/she died doing what he/she loved”. It’s a statement of comfort only for those left living, to make them feel better about a persons passing. Drives me crazy.
Driving me more crazy are bloggers/twitterers/facebookers armchair, er… keyboard side constant philosophical pontifications on life and how to live it. I believe what you DO, only part of what you SAY, about five percent of what you TYPE and even less what you POST on a social network regarding philosophy. That diatribe aside I go back to the first paragraph and pontificate philosophical by suggesting a better statement, “He/she lived doing what he loved.”
